In todays world, marriage is in peril and divorce is commonplace. Elder Dallin H. Oaks teaches us how we can heal from the pain of a difficult or broken marriage. It is through humility and the Atonement that we can recover and rebuild after experiencing these extremely difficult circumstances in our lives.

This is a nice, simple but touching video produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church). Teenagers talk about the wonderful things their mothers do. This Mother’s Day – Mormon messages suggests – let your mom know how special she is. Share this video with your mother and express your love.

Mormons are not Christians

It is sad to hear this comment from some very uninformed people and from others who spread this notions on purpose and not for a good one. The true name of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ (of Latter-day Saints). But the name may not be enough by itself to convince someone that the so-called “Mormon” are Christians.

If you have any doubt, but you sincerely want to know if  “Mormons” are Christians, just take a look at this video, the testimony of a modern Apostle about the last moments of the savior on this earth.  After watching this video, if you still think that Mormons are not Christians, then your definition of Christians must be very strange.

Mormon Prophets warns us of the dangers facing America

This is another great video from David on youtube. I was baptized in the LDS (Mormon) Church in 1985 and a few months after my baptism President Spencer W. Kimball passed away and Ezra Taft Benson became the new president. So, he was the prophet of my first years in the Church and I some of his talks had a great influence in my life, such as Flooding the earth with the Book of Mormon and Beware of Pride.

I had never heard the talk contained in this video, but it is worthwhile to listen to this prophet warning us of the dangers facing America (and many other nations).

This videos was inspired to help wake up members of the LDS Church to the dangers they face in America, as seen over 40 years ago by President Ezra Taft Benson.  i have the impression that now things are lot worse and we should all get our homes in order in preparation of the approaching PORTENT storm that Pres.Hinckley warned us about in 1998.

Mormon Church Leaders preparing us for the 2nd Coming of Christ

I have found a series of great videos about the challenges that we will be facing briefly and for whom we need to prepare.

The author, David, posted this video on youtube and this was part of his commentary about this video.

We are the chosen generation who needs to prepare for the second Coming of the Savior. We are on a mission to prove whether or not we will persevere in a world ripening in iniquity. We are among the elect whom the Lord has called during this “eleventh hour” to labor in His vineyard, a vineyard that has become corrupted every whit” and which only a few “doeth good”. We are those few.. (excerpts for Sheri Dew)

People of all faiths, LDS, Protestants, Baptists, good men and women all over the world are preparing to meet Christ. I personally look forward to the day.

Throughout history, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples. Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred promises with God. Mormons are well known for their temples, now more than 130 around the world. Temples are a very important in Mormon Theology but their purpose is often misunderstood by many who are not familiar with the LDS or Mormon Church. This video help understand the real purpose of Mormon temples.

Mormon Videos: Mormon Ads and Mormon Beliefs

I have been looking for a few good videos about the Mormon Church and these are a few interesting ones.

The first is a Mormon Ad – SciFi, and as usual it is about families

I have also found an unusual one from a Mormon girl who wants to answer questions for sincere truth seekers. She is a little bit sarcastic and suggests haters to go visit a therapist…

Finally, a nice explanation of Mormon beliefs (Mormons are Christians) by Elder Coleman in the Mormon General Conference. Elder Gary J. Coleman talks about his conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He speaks of his understanding of the true nature of the Godhead, access to additional scripture and revelation, and partaking of the blessings of priesthood authority.

True Mormon Families are not polygamist

Mormon LDS Leader, M Russell Ballard spoke about the limited practice of polygamy some 117 years ago in the Mormon Church.
He then speaks about Mormon families and how important the family unit is to Mormons.
Mormon Families

How important is the family unit? Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) believe that families are the most important and foundational unit of our lives. In fact, as one modern-day apostle aptly declared, “No success can ever compensate for failure in the home.”

Perhaps you’ve wondered how you can improve the quality of life in your family. Perhaps you’ve wondered if the God-given roles of the family are still alive and well. With conflicting voices about the value of the traditional family, where can you turn for guidance about strengthening the bonds between parents and children or about the nature and purpose of the family, motherhood, fatherhood, parenting, and gender roles?

God has not left us directionless. He has answered your questions about the nature of families in ancient and modern scripture. He has made clear the eternal nature of gender and sexuality and instructed us on the complimentary roles of men and women.

Today, a living prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley, and his twelve apostles–oracles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the world–have spelled out in a compelling Proclamation to the World the significance and eternal nature of the family.

Harvard’s Day of Faith: a Mormon student, Rachel Esplin, explain her religion

This is an interesting video where Rachel Esplin, a 20-year old Harvard junior, speaks on a panel of faith about her Mormon beliefs, upbringing, and faith in Jesus Christ and the restoration of the gospel. She does a great job of presenting what she believes and with honesty explains her feelings about the Mormon Church. Her answer cover several important beliefs of Mormons.

Conversion stories of Mormons

These are a few conversion stories of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). It is interesting to observe how the Lord touches different people in different ways because their lives and experiences are unique, and only the Lord really knows how to open their minds. However, the end point is still the same for all of them. They learn and embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fulness. Many of these people were already Christians, but they had questions or doubts that were not answered in their churches and they were looking for something more. When they finally enter in contact with the Mormon church through friends, family, missionaries, or even through anti-mormon literature, they recognize what they were looking for and find answers to their questions.
